GARDEN DÉCOR is owned and operated by Liz Burton, who has been in the garden design business since 1992.

Our philosophy is to work with our clients to transform their vision into reality.  Whether it be a garden make-over, general garden upkeep to keep it looking fresh and vibrant, working with architect’s on new builds and construction, pre-sale tidy-ups, or full-scale commercial projects – we create and maintain the look you want. No job is too big or too small!

We work with a select group of landscape contractors, builders, water feature and lighting design specialists to ensure the garden design process, from initial concept to project completion, is smooth and seamless.

We have a team of friendly, reliable and skilled gardeners and landscapers who are passionate about creating beautiful gardens and outdoor spaces for our clients.

I have always had a passion for gardens and design. When a friend asked me to help create a garden for her back in the early ’90’s, it was one of the most enjoyable projects I had ever undertaken.  After one of their friends viewed the garden I had created, they asked me to help with their own garden, and from there what had previously been a passion project and hobby grew into the successful business that is GARDEN DECOR today.

In 2003 I completed a CAD Design course at UNITEC (Vectorworks), and since then I have been using CAD Design to create garden design plans for my clients. I also work closely with Architects on a number of projects, undertaking the soft landscaping design on hard landscaping plans.

I am still just as passionate about gardening and design as I was 28 years ago. I love working with clients to bring their unique visions to life, and am proud of my teams ability to exceed clients expectations and transform their gardens into beautiful outdoor spaces.
